October 26th (The actual real date, lol) ----Cat is out of the bag :)
Now you know the real story about the last few months. We're so extremely excited to be here in this moment right now.....12 weeks tomorrow, goodness gracious!!!
There are no words to explain how overwhelmed with happiness we are, to be honest there were many times I never thought I'd get to be announcing a baby to anyone ever.
In case you didn't catch the video announcement on Facebook, here it is!!! Tuesday (the 29th) is our anniversary hence the wedding stuff :)

October 20th--- Introducing "Baby Says"!!!
I wanted to capture my bump pictures in a cute and creative way but I'm too tired to really put much effort into anything right now. That is where the idea of "Baby says" came in.
I asked Jim to take my picture today (11 weeks today!!!) and every Sunday we'll take a picture in the same spot. Baby will tell you how he/she is doing and his/her progression each week!!!
Here is Week 11, hope you all like it!!!

October 7th-- First OB appointment
My first OB appointment was on October 7th (9 weeks and 1 day) and it is now October 19th when I'm updating this blog. Oh geez, I'm slacking!!! Good thing these are still private blogs so its not really as much an issue :)
Anyways, Jim had to work but I wasn't too upset since he had gone to the first three ultrasounds and plus I wasn't so sure I'd really like this office since it was new to me. Thankfully I really like the OB I met on the 7th and the office is great too!! They have a few OBs that work in the office and since any one of them could be on call when you deliver, they ask that you make appointments with all of them at some point in the pregnancy. Makes sense to me!!! My first OB was nice and I'm sure I'll like the rest of them too!!
About the appointment....the nurses weighed me (same weight since pre pregnancy, yay!!) and asked me a TON of questions then gave me a booklet of information that I can read at home. It outlined all the tests that are mandatory and listed those that were optional. I never knew that the NT scan was optional so I'm still hemming and hawing about having it done.....I'm 11 weeks now so I'm thinking I'll just skip it.
The OB came in and talked to me about my IF history then did my scan....ain't she pretty?? I still think its a girl...

Honestly pregnancy so far hasn't been too hard on me. Its different, I'll give you that, but nothing so far that hasn't been manageable. Week 10 was the roughest so far with all day nausea that wasn't quelched by eating/snacking often. I've also had some issues with insomnia where my thrashing around in the bed caused Jim to vacate the bedroom and take up residence on the couch. Poor guy :(
That is about it....pretty much everyone knows by now including 95% of my coworkers. I'm helping plan the baby shower for a manager's wife. Its nice to be able to get involved in baby related activities again without being depressed or crying. Its a strange feeling but I'm liking it so far.
I'm also into maternity clothes ALMOST exclusively. Mainly just pants. My dress pants are way too tight but most of my shirts are still ok....here is me today about to go for dinner with my coworkers....
September 24th-- Graduation Day!!!
ZOMG, I was released to the OB today I can't freakin' believe it!!!
Today was my last ultrasound at my RE's office. Bittersweet.
Anywho....baby is starting to kinda look like a baby. She has a heartbeat of 136 which they said was great!!! Its still just so unbelievable to see that little beany in there! :)
As for symptoms, still some major plumbing issues. I thought they were gone but they came back with a vengeance. I'm still suffering but I think its maybe not quite as bad as last week. Today I had a few more waves of nausea than usual. The other day I cried at CVS picking out a card for Jim's birthday. Basically, every day is a little different and never the same symptoms it seems. If it keeps up like this I'll be happy. There is a glimmer of pregnancy but not so much to make me awfully sick.
Another fun thing for today, I get to stop my Estrace and PIO!!! So excited to get my bum back to normal and sleep ok again!!
Yahoooooo!!!!
Here is Baby Payne at 7w2d... Love love :)

September 18th-- Beany has a heartbeat!!!
Yesterday we went in for our 2nd ultrasound. I was so nervous I didn't sleep at all the night before so you could imagine how exhausted I was having to get up for the appt. at 5am.
Anywho, we went in and right away the tech was like.....oh here it is!! Then when she said , I see a very strong heartbeat and turned the monitor to me so I could see I got very teary eyed. It was so unbelievable seeing my little creation on the screen flickering away. Sooooo very cool.
Also, I thought I already posted this but this is a video of my MIL unwrapping her picture frame to tell her she's going to be a grandma...
To end this post, here is our little beany bean at 6w2d :) So in love already :)

September 9th--- 5 weeks....Our first Ultrasound!!
Here is our first ultrasound picture at 5weeks!!! At this point it is so early all you see is the gestational sac...which is that black hole in the middle.
We have two more ultrasounds to pass before being released to the OB. I already have my first appointment scheduled for October 7th, I'm so excited!!!
Our upcoming ultrasound this week for our 6 week ultrasound, is still very early but we should at least see a flicker of a heartbeat. I'm so nervous each week!!
September 7th-- Chesney's new shirt
With my last cycle I bought Chesney a shirt that says Big Sister on it. Obviously I never got to use it.... Until now!!!
I'm thinking she hates it because he's giving me a sad look and every time I try to snap a picture of the shirt she rolls on her back, lol
Here's the best I got...

September 4th--- Beta #2 was ....
267!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The RE's office said they wanted it around 120 and my little beany surpassed them all!!!
We have our first ultrasound scheduled on Monday, which is 5w1d. I'm a little nervous that is too early but they say I should at least see a gestational sack.
Hope so, I'm so excited!!!

September 2nd---- 10dpFET
Thursday after work, after getting a positive on my digital, Jim and I headed to Kohls to find a little gift for our parents to tell them the news. Since we were seeing my parents this weekend, regardless of the outcome this is the only time I could share this news in person with them. Day of my beta or not I was telling them. We got a little picture frame with a sailboat on it that said "You sailed into our hearts" and then I printed out a picture of the positive digital and put it in the frame. So exciting :)
On Friday morning I got up at the buttcrack of dawn and headed to the RE's office. I knew it was going to be a positive beta of course since my pee sticks had been positive and I got "Pregnant" on the digital the day before. The question was....how positive was the beta going to be. I thought if I'm pulling positives since Tuesday night this beta has to be around 50-60 by Friday morning.
Well....it was indeed positive but a 31.6 which is not exactly quite as high as I thought it'd be. However, a 31.6 IS high enough to turn most all hpt's positive.
Of course I hit the Google....apparently frozen embryos tend to have lower betas for some reason so maybe that is it. All I can think of though all day is that is too low this isn't good.
Especially frightening was the fact that my symptoms faded away that day as well. Jim came to pick me up from work at 4pm (a few hours after my beta) and we headed to visit my parents. Oh good lord what a trip, you probably already read about that in the public posts by now. Anywho, when we finally got to my parents house they gave us the tour and when it was over I said I had a present for them. I went into my bag pulled out the picture frame and handed it to my Mom upside down. I said it was a housewarming present but I didn't have time to wrap it. They both looked at it and smiled and said oh this is nice.....and then their eyes focused on the picture :) My Mom freeeeeeaked out, it was great.
Being gone all weekend and having no pregnancy symptoms made me a little nervous. I was really anxious to get home tonight and pee a few sticks up to make sure little beany was still in there. I did three Wondfos and a digital. My Wondfos scared me but my Facebook girls reassure me that the lines are never very dark. I guess its just a good thing they are darkER but they shouldn't be solid...PHEW! Here is my comparison to Thursday morning's Wondfos....granted I don't know how reliable they are as a comparison since they've been in the trash since THURSDAY!!!! but I pulled the FRERs I took and they all look the same as the day I took them so I'm going with that :)
Holy shmoly folks this may be the real deal.....now for beta #2 tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!! Its going to be a long day at work waiting for them to call me!!

August 30th- 7dpFET
So yesterday I had woken up around 330 to pee....peed on three Wondfos and didn't get positives (or so I thought) so I went to bed.
Woke up at 630 had to pee again but noticed the lines on the Wondfos! Took a digi and got this...
Today was my beta so well see!!!

August 28th--- 5dpFET
I couldn't sleep at all last night. I woke up thinking it had to be close to when my alarm would be going off and it was only 1:15am. This went on the whole rest of the night until finally at 5:23am (yes I remember the time) I decided it was just time to get up and pee.
Here is what I got this morning...
You will just have to trust me there is a line there....the squinty lines are hard to photograph but its there!!!
I ran into the bedroom and woke Jim up. "I think it worked....come see this", I said. To which he stumbled out of bed so quickly he hit his head. He looked at the pee stick, twisted it turned it, he didn't see it. Granted, I should mention after I peed I ran downstairs first to download the picture and post it on my FB group for interpretation. In all honesty, the test had been sitting for maybe 15-20minutes before I went to wake Jim up when I got the all clear from the girls. I showed him the picture on my computer....he was kinda giving me this look like "Why did you wake me up for this" so I told him to go back to bed. Not exactly the dreamy way I pictured that moment to be but oh well.
When I got home, we were discussing it a little more. I'm starting to think I'm maybe feeling pregnant. I'm soooooooo thirsty omg.....and I'm getting little twingy cramps now. Not pain and not quite AF but just twingy. Anywho, Jim says "Well take another test now and see what it says" Who am I to turn down a challenge to pee on a stick so I did!!!!
Here is what we got at 5:15pm with not quite so concentrated urine... I couldn't decide which picture shows the line better its tough because I keep getting a glare from the plastic window!!!
By now, maybe you don't think I'm quite so crazy. Neither did Jim....he said "Oh....I see it" LOL
Men, haha.

August 27th-- 4dpFET..... hmmmm?
Sorry I didn't blog yesterday but there wasn't all that much to tell.
Today, however? .......
I got this.....
Today, however? .......
I got this.....
Do you see it? Tilt your head, cross your eyes, and hop on one foot....still having trouble???
Now do you see it??? The second line???
OMFG.
So I went to Walgreens after work to pick up my refill of syringes and needles for the PIO. I thought while I was there I should get a few boxes of HPT for when I decide to pee. Of course, on the way home I decided the time to pee was now. When I got home, Jim and I had some dinner and after we were done eating I brought all my stuff upstairs and subtly escaped to the bathroom. I did my thing and set the stick on the counter. I watched 4 min. go by on my phone....1 for good measure. When I picked up the stick ...took it over to the light....took a deep breath and looked.....
I seriously though I was imagining things so I texted a pic to my friend. She saw it. I posted a pic on my FB support group....they saw it. The one girl is the one who made the fancy version of the pic too. Regardless....I'm a little bit, teensy, weensy bit pregnant today. Today is the farthest Ive come. I'm hopeful this is the real deal going forward.
Here's to a darker line in the morning!!!
Symptoms as of today....may be the squinty may be the progesterone:
Nausea --pretty bad. I get super hungry quick and half way through a meal I'm sick to my stomach
Lack of cramping- Totally different from all my other cycles. I cramped the entire way from transfer to my AF/beta.
My legs/knees hurt-- Really weird and hard to explain but my leg joints just ache
Temperature changes-- Hot flashes here and there like I'm on Lupron again. Plus, randomly today I got major chills and icky feeling like I had the flu. It only lasted a few minutes and it was gone.

August 25th- 2.5dpFET
Ok so far so good. I've managed to keep myself occupied this weekend pretty well. I'm definitely not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow after my three day weekend but.... That will make time go by quick as well.
I'm still nauseated but I'm sure that is progesterone related since its been around since before transfer. No cramping yet knock on wood and hopefully it stays that way. I thought I was getting the progesterone headache but it was a tease and never really materialized. Hurray!! My bum is feeling better too. However my left side still is pretty painful. We have to go back there tonight regardless though since my right side already got used twice. Boo.... :(
That's all for now!!

August 24-- 1dpFET
Yup, I wanna POAS. Bad. That is silly and I know it but I cant help it.
Anywho, I'm really having trouble with these damn PIO shots. I'm walking around like a gimp and can't put all my weight on my left side or it hurts too much. We did two nights in a row on my right side now because of it. Hopefully by tomorrow its a little better or else my right side is going to match my left!!
We went to my IL's tonight and my BIL kept trying to get Jim to drink and drink and drink. I told Jim he already got a drinking pass on Thursday and I had my friend give me my shot....he needed to be sober tonight to give me the PIO. It was tough and I may have accidentally suggested that Jim has performance issues with alcohol....but that totally came out wrong, LOL
Oh well....so far not feeling anything much. On going nausea that has been around since the first night of PIO. I'm thankful the symptoms started so soon so I'm not wracking my brain trying to figure out if its the PIO or a baby. At any rate, yes I'm nauseated but other than that I'm not feeling anything but a sore ass. I guess that is a good thing right?
Tomorrow my friends are coming over for a BBQ, that should be fun. I'm glad we've had stuff to do this weekend to keep my mind occupied. Now here's hoping the week itself goes as nicely :)
Side note....my boss texted me yesterday to see how it went. I thought that was really nice of her :)

August 23rd--- FET #1
Today was that highly anticipated day....my FET was finally here!
With sore bum from the PIO, Jim and I headed out to the RE's office. I was nervous because I worried they wouldn't survive, any of them, and we'd have nothing to show for. We took Grumpy with us but he waited in the car.
When we got there they took us back pretty quick which was good because I already had to pee and I had another hour or so left to hold it. Then came the funny part. Since Jim got to go into the transfer room with me, he had to put on the surgical gowns too. His was like a space suit/jumpsuit and he was having trouble putting it on so I was laughing so hard....which didn't help the fact I had to pee!! Jim wouldn't let me take his picture but he insisted on taking mine despite me not wanting it taken.....so we call this "Silence of the Lambs"...
Once the nurses came back into the room, they took my vitals and then left us to wait for the RE to pop in and say hello before going off to the transfer. When Dr. Oz came in he gave us the good news and bad news. Our bad news was that one of the first two they thawed didn't make it so they had to thaw a third. The good news was that those two were thawed perfectly and actually the third one looked the best out of all three. One has an 80% survival rate and the other one had a 100% survival rate. Not too bad I guess!
On we went to the transfer. It was only then that I learned that I have not been putting the Endometrin in far enough. I'm starting to think back on all my AF before beta and wonder if I made that happen. I'm also wondering is it even necessary now for me to be on the PIO?? Well, no sense changing things up now I'm keeping it as is and just shoving that tab up the who ha a little further today.
So without further ado, here are Grumpy (left) and Bashful (right) we are hopeful that one or both will decide to stick around. We tried threatening them.....we told them if at least one didn't we were thawing all their brothers and sisters in storage. We're twisted, I know, LOL but you need to have some kind of humor to get through all this crap.
After the transfer we went and got......life insurance. LMAO. I'm seriously laughing about the irony of today. The insurance agent was like strangely in tune that we were doing IVF , unless Jim mentioned it but I doubt it, and he was rambling all about his grandson was an IVF baby and so and so had an IVF baby. I was like, I'm sorry what? I just want to get a policy, LOL
Anywho, we came home and had some Chinese food. My friend, who recently got pregnant, had a matching fortune with her husband before her beta so we thought we'd see if we could at least get some reassurance through the cookie maybe not matching but something. Nope....told me I have an appreciation for art and music. Thank you oh wise fortune cookie, my life is complete knowing that now since I hadn't known it before, haha.
After Chinese food it was nap time. I'm not putting myself on actual bedrest but who would pass up an opportunity to take a 2 hour nap in the middle of a Friday afternoon right??
So here I am.....almost 7hourspFET and yeah...kinda want to POAS already. That's bad I know, I can't help it. Its a curse.
