Ready... Set... STIM!!!

Best phone call today.....the RE's office called and they were able to push the approval through for our ICSI!!!  I really feel like this is all coming together now!! I do have to say just how awesome my previous RE is. She heard I was calling the Andrology lab asking about MH's samples so she called me to see what was up, LOL. I had to come clean that I got a second opinion and was cycling somewhere else. I felt awful...oh my god. I felt like a cheating girlfriend, haha!! She was really nice about it and she was very helpful I'd recommend their office to anyone. I loved them but thought a new lab might do some good otherwise I wouldn't have left!

Anyways tonight started my first night of stims for IVF #4. This may be the grand OE finale here depending on its outcome. My meds are much different this time so its a new protocol that I have to get used to. I must have checked my flowsheet like 10 times.....ok HOW many units of low dose Hcg am I taking??? lol

Here is my brand new Follistim pen......Ahhhhhh nothing like the smell of a new pen :)

Still not sure about this new addition of low dose hcg. I'm always nervous when entering into unfamiliar territory...

Why do they put it in this funny looking bag? There are no UV rays inside my refrigerator, LOL

Finally here is the kicker....I'm on a dosage of 525iu of Follistim each night. Ummm, yeah the pen only goes up to 425iu. Looks like this dose is a two sticker....oh man. The 525iu would be a two sticker anyways at some point because its an odd dosage out of a 900iu vial so yikes...this cycle is going to require some math. I've got a sharpie marker and my iPhone calculator ready :)

 

First night down 9-10 left to go!! Lets hope this is it!!
