Gender Reveal and 19 weeks today!!

Today marks 19 weeks for baby. As mentioned in my last post, baby is healthy and so far I'm doing well too. Its still hard to believe as all I can think about is comparing this pregnancy to Jack. As of this week, I don't have any further pictures to compare to Jack since the 19 week bump shot was my last of him and me together. Before going into the gender reveal for this baby, here are side by side comparisons of Jack's 19 weeks and his sibling's 19 week pictures.

So normally I think gender reveal parties are lame....I still do, and will make fun of anyone that has one. But oh well, I had one too. For two reasons, first I want to celebrate this pregnancy to the fullest extent that I can. Second, I've been subjected to so much that its my turn to annoy the crap out of people , haha :)

Anywho, it was a Bears vs. Packers theme as mentioned before.  Here are the pics leading up to the main event...We had color coded plates, napkins, cups, and utensils! We had pins and flags for each team (Packers for Boy guesses and Bears for girl guesses)! A voting station at the kitchen table to place your bets! And for one person who guesses correctly, we have a green coffee mug (P for Packers) and a Target gift card!

My cousins came over for the party too and had fun hanging out in the mancave with Jim and trying on our Cheesehats, Bears hats, and Jim's uniforms, LOL.

Jim and I were ready for the big game!! We snapped a few pictures of ourselves before the game started, but pretty soon it was almost game time and we needed to bring out the cake!

Yes, I even painted my nails green and gold!!

The moment had arrived, it was time to cut the cake and find out if baby was a boy or a girl!!!

And even though my video cut off at the end.....IT'S A BOY!!!
We also announced to our family that his name will be Thomas James!!

We passed cake around, the blue cake plus Jim's gram's famous chocolate cake, then went downstairs to watch the game.

Not only did Green Bay win... but it was a slaughter. Yes indeed, Thomas will be a momma's boy :)
