Transfer Done

I'm trying to stay optimistic but this cycle is making it difficult to do so.

When we arrived at the hospital, we were escorted back into the procedure room. The RE on duty came into the room and went over our chart and embryo information. He said that out of the 5 that were fertilized, the best two were both only 5 cells and they both had fragmentation. The other 3 were all at 3 cells so the lab will be watching them over the next two days and will call on Wednesday to let me know if there's anything to freeze. Although, if they're only 3 cells on the 3rd day then I doubt it. Looks like we have a 2nd cycle with no frosties. He recommended transferring the 2 embryos that were 5 cells so that is what we did!

Ironic that I'd asked my RE if there was a possibility of transferring 2 this cycle but she advised against it , and now we're faced with such poor quality embryos that its being recommended. Hmph.

But...there's that "2" again :)

My fingers and toes are crossed....pleeeeeeeeeease make this work!!!
